To build sustainable peace across Africa by investing in community-led solutions — from peace education classrooms to clean water wells, from youth leadership programs to emergency response. We believe peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of justice, opportunity, and dignity for every person.

2015 First Peace Workshop
A single peace workshop in a Nairobi community hall — 47 people, one room, and a vision that would change thousands of lives.
2017 Expansion to Uganda
Our first cross-border program launched in Kampala, training teachers in conflict resolution techniques for post-conflict classrooms.
2018 Clean Water Initiative
Began drilling wells in Turkana, Kenya, reaching 12 remote communities with clean water access for the first time.
2019 Youth Leadership Program
Launched regional youth peace summits bringing together 500 young leaders from 8 countries for dialogue and action planning.
2020 COVID-19 Response
Pivoted to deliver emergency food aid and health education across 5 countries, reaching 20,000+ families during the pandemic.
2021 12-Country Reach
Expanded operations to all 12 countries across East Africa and the Great Lakes region. 50+ staff and 1,000+ volunteers strong.
2023 50,000 Lives Impacted
Crossed the milestone of 50,000 lives directly impacted through peace education, healthcare, water, and youth programs.
2025 Peace Built Here
Launched the Peace League Africa digital platform, connecting donors directly with communities and bringing transparency to every dollar.
