About This Event
Clean Water Awareness Day brought together 650 community members at the Kisumu Waterfront for a day of learning, celebration, and action. The event marked the completion of three new clean water wells serving communities in Kisumu County, providing safe drinking water to over 3,500 people.
Attendees learned about water conservation techniques, well maintenance, and hygiene best practices through interactive booths and demonstrations. Children enjoyed educational games and activities. The day concluded with a tree planting session along the lake shore, symbolizing our commitment to environmental stewardship alongside water access.
Thank you to the Kisumu County Government and local community leaders for their partnership in making this event a success.
