About This Event
Our Women in Peacebuilding Conference was a landmark gathering of 280 women peacebuilders from across Uganda and the Great Lakes region. The conference celebrated the critical — and often unrecognized — role women play in conflict resolution, community reconciliation, and peacebuilding at every level.
Highlights included a powerful keynote address, hands-on workshops in trauma-informed mediation and community organizing, and the official launch of the Uganda chapter of our Women Peacebuilders Network. The energy in the room was palpable — a reminder that when women lead, peace follows.
Conference proceedings and recordings are available on request. Contact us for more information.
