About This Event
The Peace Education Summit is the premier gathering for educators, policymakers, and community leaders committed to building peace through education. Now in its fourth year, the summit brings together over 300 participants from across East Africa to share best practices, develop new curriculum frameworks, and forge partnerships that bring peace education to every classroom.
This year's theme is Curriculum as a Bridge — exploring how peace education can be integrated not as a standalone subject, but woven into existing curricula across STEM, humanities, and the arts. Research shows that students who receive peace education are 67% less likely to engage in violent conflict and 43% more likely to complete their schooling.
Join us in Nairobi for a day of inspiration, collaboration, and tangible action. Whether you're a classroom teacher, a ministry official, or a community organizer, you'll leave with practical tools and a network of committed peacebuilders.
