About This Event
We invite you to join us in celebrating a milestone: the commissioning of our 50th clean water well in Turkana County, providing safe drinking water to over 5,000 community members. Each well represents countless hours of community collaboration, geological surveys, and sustainable engineering.
Our water program has transformed lives across Kenya's arid regions. Before our wells, women and girls would walk up to 6 hours daily to collect water from contaminated sources. Now, they have clean water within 15 minutes of their homes — giving girls time to attend school and women time to pursue livelihoods.
The celebration will feature traditional music and dance, speeches from community leaders, and a ceremonial well-pumping. Light refreshments will be provided. All are welcome.
